How it all started.

Kate Cofer, the owner of Good Mood Workshop, started teaching fiber art workshops in 2017, in the evenings after her day job. She hosted weaving classes at local breweries, shops, and pop-up spaces. She’d dreamed of opening up her own space, and after the pandemic she saw an opportunity to test the waters by creating a pop-up craft space in Manette for six months, from September 2021 through February 2022.

Kate fell in love with teaching, creating a bright and happy space for others to try a new craft, and she especially loved getting to meet so many great people in Kitsap. After searching for a year for the perfect situation, Kate found a permanent home for Good Mood, near Evergreen Park, at 1212 Pacific Ave, where she can host workshops with enough room to allow for her to make her own fiber art, as well.
